I decided to have a look at DA submission rules about graphic naughtyness. Im pretty sure Ive read some very doubious stuff on here that just basically sex but according to DA rules, this is not allowed. The following is copied directly from the news article on porn and erotic writing. Basically, porno lit is not allowed. Sorry if the following is a little graphic >_>

Pornographic literature may be well written and may contain plot or relevant context but will ultimately resort to eliciting sexual arousal through the description of explicit sexual acts between people, objects, animals, etc. It is this factor which will be used to classify a particular literary submission as pornographic as opposed to erotic.

Explicit writing will be defined as writing designed to leave little to the imagination. Sexual acts are detailed and graphic and often (though not always) stated in very obvious manner. As the purpose of pornography is to entice and arouse the reader, the language used and the actions of the characters are focused on providing the reader with detailed descriptions of each sexual act, often with acts such as penetration, oral sex and ejaculation being described in high detail and often using crass and vulgar terms in the description.

Double eep. While I DONT use smutty horrible words in my writing, things are still pretty much....hard core.

Y'know, Im almost 100% that I have read stuff here on DA that totally shatters all those rules to a million, billion pieces but they are still there, they have been for a long time and people fav them constantly. But Im not going to take the chance and risk the shame of being kicked off DA. I can totally understand why they dont want this kind of thing floating around, of course, but I see a lot of photos of naked men and ladies on here that make me want to cringe. Seeing a womans bits in close up detail, the kinda thing that is often on the front page, makes me feel a little queezey. Same for men as well! To me, its porn. The artists themselves have a message and yes, thats fine, but do the people who fav these things? Possibly not.

So, sorry to do this again, but the yaoi stays as is. To be honest, I can see myself using this acount much anymore so I might close it.
